Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read over these terms and conditions before entering the Cognosco et Credo “Anniversary of Freedom” Heirloom Quilt Raffle (the “Raffle”) benefiting Cognosco et Credo, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Raffle is conducted pursuant to Oklahoma law, and is void outside of Oklahoma.
Participant Agreement & Disqualification
By participating in this Raffle, participants agree to abide by all the terms and conditions set forth herein. Cognosco et Credo reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these terms and conditions.
Participant Eligibility
Valid participants in this Raffle must be at least 18 years of age, and a legal citizen of the United States. Employees of Cognosco et Credo and their immediate families (spouses, siblings, parents, children, and household members) are not eligible to participate in the Raffle.
Ticket Sales
Raffle tickets (the “Ticket” or “Tickets”) will be available to purchase online at knowandbelieve.com or in person until March 26, 2026, at approximately 3:59 PM, or until 300 Tickets are sold, whichever comes first. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants may purchase one Ticket for a voluntary contribution of ten dollars ($10), or purchase, in a single transaction, six Tickets for a voluntary contribution of fifty dollars ($50). No more than 300 Tickets will be sold. Ticket numbers will be issued automatically, upon completion of the online ticket purchase. Participants may not select their own ticket numbers. All Raffle Tickets sales are final and non-refundable.
Drawing
A random drawing under the supervision of an official of Cognosco et Credo will take place Thursday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM CST, at Raising Cane’s (4810 S Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74135). The winning Ticket(s) will be selected by random number generation from all eligible entries. The winning participant(s) need not be present at the drawing to win. The participant(s) holding the winning Ticket number(s) (the “Potential Winner”) will be contacted via email within three (3) days of the drawing, and the decision of Cognosco et Credo to determine whether the Potential Winner is the official winner of the specified Prize (the “Official Winner”) is final.
Raffle Prizes
One (1) GRAND PRIZE WEEKEND “Anniversary of Freedom” Heirloom Quilt. Grand Prize includes standard shipping within the 48-contiguous states.
Two (2) DINNER FOR 4 AT RAISING CANE’S. To include 4 “The Box” Combos or a $45 gift card per winner.

Use of Proceeds
Net proceeds of this Raffle will benefit Cognosco et Credo, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.
Prize Redemption
The Official Winner must claim the specified Prize, according to the method indicated in the notification email, within 14 days of notification (the “Deadline”). If the Official Winner fails to claim the specified Prize by the Deadline, such Official Winner shall forfeit the specified Prize and, subject to these terms and conditions, a new Official Winner will be chosen by random drawing among all remaining eligible entries.
Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. The Official Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and any other expenses related to the awarded Prize. The Official Winner agrees to disclose a valid tax identification number (Social Security or EIN number) to claim his/her prize if taxes will be due and IRS Form W-2G may be issued to Official Winner.
By claiming his/her prize, the Prize winner agrees to allow Cognosco et Credo, Inc., to use his/her name, likeness, and photo for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Odds
Cognosco et Credo will sell a total of 300 Raffle Tickets. The odds of winning will vary and will depend on the number of total Tickets sold.
Liability
Cognosco et Credo, Raffle sponsors, and donors are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of any awarded Prize. By participating in this Raffle, participants agree to release and hold harmless Cognosco et Credo, Raffle sponsors, the property owner, and their affiliates from any and all liability.
Voluntary Contributions
All raffle entries are voluntary contributions. However, the IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances in raffles for prizes are not gifts and therefore do not qualify as charitable contributions.
Legal Compliance
This Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Raffle is void where prohibited. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
Dispute Resolution
The Raffle shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any claims regarding the Raffle that are not release must be brought in the State or Federal Courts in Tulsa County, Oklahoma. IN NO EVENT SHALL COGNOSCO ET CREDO, INC., OR ANY RELATED ENTITY BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES THAT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE AWARDED TO ANY PARTICIPANT IN THE RAFFLE.
